I believe in child-led sessions. I want you to be able to look at images of your children years later and be flooded with emotion and memories, as you are seeing them just as they were. Being free, wild, adventurous. They will never be this age again so let's treasure it and take in all their little details.
I will help guide you in a way that will make your family feel comfortable and relaxed. I am with you every step of the way, from location selection to styling decisions.. I even have a client closet with dresses as well as children's clothing that you are able to use if you wish.
The Experience
Your first step is to get in touch and tell me your story. I love hearing the details about your unique family, both the good and the bad. What you do together in your downtime, favorite traditions, or silly stories. I want to get to know you, what you have envisioned for your session and what you're wanting to do with your photos (digitals only? create a photo album or a gallery wall?). We will also discuss dates, locations and even go over styling tips.

Once we have a game plan I send over your session agreement and invoice. After the agreement is signed and your $200 retainer is paid then you're officially booked in and your date is secured! YAY! The retainer also covers your session prep and shooting time (around an hour). It doesn't include digitals or physical products. Those are purchased after!

Whether your session is outdoors or in-home, I want us to slow down. I want you to embrace the silence, connect with each other and be fully present. How often are you able to put away that to-do list and just play with your children? Take this time to make some memories.

2-4 weeks after your session, you will receive your private gallery link. Through your gallery you can view/download your photos and use your artwork credit towards products such as albums, canvases or framed prints.

Secure your first session date and priority scheduling with your upcoming sessions with only a 25% deposit. The balance can be split up into equal monthly payments for up to 6 months.

I lean more towards earthy tones and typically recommend staying away from too much black or wild colors. Busy patterns or logos can be distracting as well.
Layers are fantastic, especially with our cold winters. I can send links to my top recommendations for websites to purchase clothing as well or let you know what I have available in my client closet!
What is the artwork credit?

WHAT TIME WILL MY SESSION BE?
Of course! Your $200 non-refundable retainer does need to be paid in full to secure your session on my schedule. You can start making payments on the minimum collection of $500 anytime before your session.
If you're having an in-home session, the best time is typically around 10/10:30am.
Outdoor sessions are scheduled 1-2 hours before sunset. This time will depend on the season. During the summer months, sessions will be later in the evening while autumn sessions are earlier in the afternoon. I understand that the later times in the summer can be difficult for small children, however this is the best time to get the soft, golden lighting we are after.
The complimentary artwork credit is applied to products within your gallery store. I'll simply send you a code to use for your artwork credit, then you will put whatever artwork that you would like into your cart, then checkout using the credit code. So as an example, if you get a $500 artwork credit and want $1000 worth of physical heirloom artwork, your total artwork order will only be $500. If you have any questions about this, please let me know.
